Is a Travel Journal a better Idea than a Blog – Journal

When asked if a travel journal is better than a web blog, my opinion is that a travel journal would be better. As for myself I find it more relaxing and enjoyable to write things for myself in my own handwriting. Also a travel journal would offer a bit more privacy and intimacy than would the web blog because its something that can be kept close to you where as a web blog would be open to people on the internet who subscribe to your blog. A travel journal would allow for more personal writing and a better travel companion. It is much easier to carry a small notebook with you to write down your thoughts and feelings at the moment that you are experiencing them then it would be to carry a laptop with you.

It also would be more beneficial for me because I could put more pictures in the travel journal than I could on the web blog. In a travel journal you are the only one that sees the pictures not any other creepy or possible mentally altered person that can subscribe to your blog. It allows you to cut the pictures into any shape that you may feel desirable. You can cut out those people or things that meant relatively little to you, or that harbor ill memories. You can better control who you allow to view your journal entries if you wish to allow people to see them. You can better control who you allow to read what entries and who can view what pictures. The travel journal allows for a more person touch, if the journal is to be a gift for someone. It allows for them to get a more personal feeling by reading your entries in your handwriting. It has been my experience that a journal has been better able to capture the intense feelings at any given moment.

Also not everyone will access to the internet to use a web blog, if you are traveling to a big city the chances are good that you will but if you are traveling to a relatively remote place such as the Australian outback the chances of having a stable and strong Internet signal are relatively low. In these cases a journal would be relatively more convenient as the only thing that is required to make an entry is a pen. It has been my experience that a journal has been better able to capture the intense feelings at a given moment
